Holidaying in Norway this summer?

You don’t need to travel abroad to check in at a great hotel. If you’re spending the summer in the capital or another city in the country, there are plenty of lovely places to spend a night or two.

But there’s no hiding that some hotels are a little extra special and tempting to check in to. Choosing the hotel is part of the experience, after all, isn’t it?

We’ve rounded up some of the finest hotels around the country.

Amerikalinjen, Oslo

If you’re staying at a hotel in the capital this summer, this boutique hotel is a good choice. Amerikalinjen sits centrally on Jernbanetorget and creates a great atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. Beautifully designed rooms, a New York-inspired bar in the lobby and a modern gym in the basement are just some of what it has to offer.

If you enjoy elegant and beautiful surroundings, you should definitely check in at Britannia. Here you can sleep in bright, luxurious rooms with marble bathrooms – and even a gold bathtub if you like. Perhaps it’s no surprise that the hotel has had its own TV series?
