Just in time for autumn, Oslo is getting an entire store dedicated to the shoes many already have on their wish list. On 1 October, UGG opens its doors in Prinsens gate.

UGG is opening its first store in Norway, and on Thursday 1 October the brand moves into Prinsens gate 21. You’ll find the entrance from Nedre Slottsgate in central Oslo.

For many, UGG is still synonymous with the soft boots that pop up every single year as soon as the temperature drops. But the brand has long since grown far beyond a single shoe style. In the new store, you’ll find shoes, clothing and accessories for women, men and children. In other words, the store offers a wider selection than you’ll usually find at retailers that carry parts of the collection.

The store will be UGG’s second in the Nordics, after Stockholm. According to UGG itself, interest from Norwegian customers has been high for a long time.

– Oslo has long been an important market for us, and the opening feels like a natural next step in the brand’s development in the Nordics, says Emma Pärsson of Selected Brands in a press release.

The fact that UGG has chosen Nedre Slottsgate in particular is also worth noting. The street is known for its international fashion houses, and now it’s getting a new name on the shop signs. For those of us who like to try shoes on before deciding, the opening comes at the perfect time: just as the autumn wardrobe is falling into place.

Add it to your calendar: UGG opens on 1 October at Prinsens gate 21!
