Itching to travel? You’re not the only one.

Everyday life can be long and dull, especially when you’ve lived under restrictions for about two years. Then it’s easy to dream yourself away to somewhere else. The temptation to travel to a warmer country or another city is great – to take some time off and recharge your batteries.

If anyone is good at this, it’s the celebrities.

Now that the world is opening up again, they’re quick to leave the country and head off on new adventures. All you have to do is get inspired and dream away.

City breaks

Nothing beats a long weekend in a big city. You get away from ordinary life and have every possibility in front of you. You can do exactly what suits you – everything from shopping and nightlife to relaxing and city walks.

Here are three big cities that influencers and celebrities are more than happy to travel to:

Paris

It’s not for nothing that this is called the city of love; it is undoubtedly romantic. There’s also a sea of cafés to choose from, designer shops galore and tourist attractions on every street corner.

It’s not hard to do your job as an influencer in Paris either, when the whole city is Instagram-friendly.

This is where the celebrities are travelling now. Get inspired! Here, Emili Sindlev on a trip to Paris.

Emili Sindlev is one of those who love Paris, and the city suits her. A city break doesn’t have to mean something is happening all the time. You can take time for a slow morning. Just look at this lovely breakfast Emili is enjoying in her hotel room.

Influencer Anna Astrup has also recently been in Paris. She seemed to enjoy being a tourist in the city of love.

Rome

The city of pasta and Italy’s capital. Rome is one of the most popular tourist cities in the world. It has well-preserved history and a large number of historic sights. Narrow streets and cosy restaurants. Pizza, pasta and gelato; you’re never hungry in Rome.

The influencers Marie Jedig and Ella Karberg have both recently been on separate trips to Rome. They’re both stylish and on point in beautiful Rome. Of course, it makes us want to travel to the pasta capital too!

New York City

The big city on the other side of the Atlantic. The USA’s largest city, which never stands still. Here we can dream away and pretend we’re Carrie Bradshaw. Sit in Central Park enjoying a coffee, visit the Empire State Building or get lost in Times Square. In New York it’s impossible to be bored, no matter what.

Warmer climes

Dreaming of summer, sun and warmth? You’re not the only one. Especially when it’s still wintry and miserable in our long, narrow country.

Here are 4 tropical destinations the celebrities love:

Hawaii

Aloha – we want to go here too! A tropical climate all year round and lush landscapes. Here you can live the good life. Who hasn’t dreamed of travelling to Hawaii, surfing and drinking smoothies all day long?

Nor is she the only celebrity to be found in Hawaii. Heartthrob Shawn Mendes has been there too. Here on a bike ride with a mate. Perhaps to check out some of the many beaches?

St. Barths

The Caribbean island mixes French urban style with a lush tropical landscape of mountains, hidden beaches and turquoise bays overflowing with luxurious sailing boats. With this setting, it’s no wonder the celebrities choose to come back here year after year.

The island is undoubtedly an expensive destination, but all the beaches are accessible, public and free – so it’s possible to enjoy yourself without breaking the bank.

Two Norwegian celebrities who have just been living the good life on St. Barths are the model Frida Aasen and Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl, better known as Kygo. They seem to have been living it up on their own sailing boats and enjoying gorgeous surroundings.

Mexico

Long beaches, turquoise sea, ancient history and Mexican food. That’s Mexico. It offers lively nightlife, restaurants in every price range, shopping and unbeatably beautiful nature. We understand why the celebrities travel here.

Power couple and lovebirds Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian took the children on a family holiday to Mexico, more precisely Cabo San Lucas. Beach life and horse riding at sunset seemed to be among the things on the agenda.

Bahamas

The Bahamas is a place many celebrities go to unwind and enjoy sun and summer. Here you can swim with pigs(!), snorkel, look at teeming coral reefs and sunbathe all day long on beautiful beaches. They even have a pink beach!
