Sold out online – here’s where you can buy this year’s Pink Ribbon now

This year’s Rosa sløyfe (Pink Ribbon) is sold out in the Norwegian Cancer Society’s own online store. But you can still get hold of one – you just need to know where to look.

The ribbon was designed by Lene and Rikke Holmen-Jensen of Ella&il, and we wrote about how it came about here. Demand has now been so high that the Pink Ribbon online store is sending buyers on to its partners.

Gone in five days

The ribbon was launched on 23 September. When we checked five days later, on 28 September, it was already listed as sold out in the Pink Ribbon online store. The Norwegian Cancer Society writes that this is due to “high demand and interest”.

That means the online store ran out before the campaign itself, which is held every October. Kid also reports that it’s sold out online, and the Ella&il neck warmer has a longer delivery time than usual.

It’s not the first time the ribbon has gone quickly. In 2024, Coop reported on 11 October that several stores were sold out, and that the chain had already sold more than 30,000 ribbons – compared with 35,000 in the whole of October the year before.

Now the online store is sending buyers on to its partners.

Here’s where to get it now

The Norwegian Cancer Society says the ribbon is sold by its main partners Lindex, Vitusapotek, Ditt apotek, Mester Grønn, Kid Interiør, Coop and Colosseum Tannlege. The online store also mentions Ella&il’s own stores and the local breast cancer associations.

This is how it looked at the chains we checked on 28 September:

Store Price How to buy
Lindex NOK 175 In store
Vitusapotek NOK 175 Order online and collect at the pharmacy – it isn’t shipped to your home
Kid Interiør NOK 175 Sold out online, but you can check stock at your local store on kid.no

Stock varies from store to store. If you have to travel a bit to buy one, it’s worth calling ahead.

Ella&il has also made a neck warmer

If you want something more than a brooch, Ella&il has knitted a limited-edition neck warmer for the campaign. It costs NOK 899 and comes in white and sand. A pink ribbon in the same style as this year’s brooch hangs from the zip, and it can be removed before washing.

The neck warmer is still available in the Pink Ribbon online store, but high demand means longer delivery times than usual.

More from the campaign

In the Pink Ribbon online store you’ll also find, among other things:

  • Mug designed by Maud Angelica Behn – NOK 299
  • Umbrella – NOK 299
  • Merino wool neck warmer and headband – NOK 299 each
  • Water bottle – NOK 249
  • Socks – NOK 149
