Hotels we’d happily check in to in the near future.

Longing for sun, warmth, palm trees and sand between your toes? You’re not alone. The weather here at home isn’t exactly anything to brag about these days, and it’s easy to end up on travel sites during the day. Whether you’re planning a holiday or not, there’s something about daydreaming a little.

Maybe you’ve started hunting for the perfect hotel for this year’s summer holiday? Then a little inspiration comes in handy.

We’ve rounded up a handful of hotels we’re dreaming of checking in to right now.

Riad Olema & Spa, Marrakech

Marrakech is bursting with lovely hotels with exciting, beautiful interiors and architecture. Most of the hotels are a so-called riad, a traditional house with a garden or courtyard in the middle.

Riad Olema & Spa is one of many lovely hotels in the Moroccan city – with a spa, an indoor pool and a terrace overlooking the Atlas Mountains. It’s only a 17-minute walk from the hotel to the Djema el-Fna market square in the old part of the city.

Some of the rooms at the hotel even have their own outdoor area with a private pool – yes please!

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the French Riviera

Halfway between Nice and Cannes on the French Riviera you’ll find the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. You’ve almost certainly seen this hotel in your Instagram feed more than once.

The majestic building at the very tip of Cap d’Antibes has panoramic views over the Mediterranean and an award-winning spa with a 1,200 square metre spa garden.

San Domenico Palace, Taormina

If you’re one of the many who have binged the much-talked-about series The White Lotus, a little trip to Hawaii or Taormina has surely been tempting lately. The latter is the Italian town where season 2 of the HBO series was filmed.

And you can actually live like Tanya, Portia, Daphne, Harper, Cameron, Ethan and the other characters for a little while. The series is set at the hotel that in real life is called San Domenico Palace.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Como

Lake Como in Italy is straight out of a fairy tale, and many dream of staying at one of the hotels along the lake – including us.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo is one of the hotels overlooking the idyllic lake, with elegant interiors, its own tennis court and a restaurant with panoramic views. You can also rent a motorboat at the hotel if you want to explore Lake Como on your own.

Waldorf Astoria Maldives, the Maldives

The Maldives really is a trending holiday destination these days, and we can’t help being tempted by all the pictures from this holiday paradise that pop up in our feed.

There are lots of small islands and hotels to choose from, but Waldorf Astoria Maldives must be one of the finest. The five-star hotel is perfect for lazy days on the beach, snorkelling, the spa or exploring the island by bike.

There are also eleven different restaurants to choose from at the resort.

Hotel Capuccino, Palma

This five-star hotel is in the Old Town of Palma and is decorated in a luxurious style. Here you can enjoy a lovely massage, eat at one of the hotel’s three restaurants, have a drink on the roof terrace or take a dip in the outdoor pool.

Santa Monica Proper Hotel, Los Angeles

If you check in to this dream of a hotel, it will be almost impossible not to be inspired by the beautiful interior. If you love working out, it also offers a stylish gym and its own yoga terrace.
