Big frames, sharp lines and quite a lot of 70s inspiration. The new eyewear collection from Oliver Peoples and KHAITE is here.

Some sunglasses make the whole outfit on their own, and we witness that ourselves at every single fashion week. That’s also partly the point as Oliver Peoples and KHAITE team up again. The new collection includes both sunglasses and clear-lens glasses, from small metal frames to big styles that tend to steal all the attention.
KHAITE has made a name for itself with clothes that look simple at first glance, but where the shape does the work. That mindset suits eyewear well. Here, you’ll find wide temples, distinct shapes and colours that stick to black, brown and muted vintage tones.

If you want something that stands out, 1965C is a large style with wide temples. 1997C is also striking, but has a tighter, more sculptural shape. 1998C takes the cat-eye shape a step further in metal, while 1969C is rounder and softer. If you prefer something lighter, 1989C has angular lenses, a double bridge and a slim metal frame.
The great thing about the collection is that it makes room both for those who always buy the same safe frame shape and for those ready for a pair that changes the whole outfit. We probably lean towards the latter, so our pick of the bunch is 2001C GOLD + VIBRANT GREEN:
